BOSTON, MA and MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC | January 5, 2026 – InnoVoyce, a medical technology company advancing surgical laser innovation, today announced a new partnership with Galen Medical, who will act as the exclusive distributor of the VYLO™ 455 nm Blue Light Laser System and laser fibers in Canada.
This partnership builds on InnoVoyce’s recent Health Canada approval of the VYLO™ 455 nm Blue Light Laser System and reflects a shared focus on making advanced laser technology more accessible to Canadian surgeons. By combining InnoVoyce’s platform with Galen Medical’s strong clinical relationships and local expertise, the collaboration aims to support broader use of VYLO across a range of surgical specialties.
“Galen Medical has built a strong reputation for bringing high-quality, clinically valuable technologies to Canadian physicians,” said Michael Davin, Interim CEO of InnoVoyce. “Their experience, credibility, and focus on long-term clinical partnerships make them an ideal partner as we expand access to the VYLO platform in Canada. Together, we are well positioned to support surgeons with technology that delivers precision, versatility, and control.”
The VYLO system delivers up to 30 watts of power and features four emission modes, including advanced Quasi modes that allow surgeons to tailor pulse duration and duty cycle during a procedure. The 455 nm wavelength is highly absorbed by hemoglobin, enabling controlled tissue interaction and strong angiolytic performance across a broad range of soft tissue applications. VYLO is cleared for use in multiple surgical specialties, including otolaryngology, general surgery, gynecology, gastroenterology, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, spinal surgery, thoracic surgery, and urology.
“We are excited about the opportunity to represent the VYLO platform in Canada,” said Jean-François Granger, President of Galen Medical. “VYLO addresses real clinical needs, and we see strong interest from surgeons looking for a blue light platform that fits naturally into both office-based and operating room workflows. We look forward to working closely with Canadian clinicians to support adoption.”
Through this partnership, Canadian surgeons will have access to the VYLO system, laser fibers, and accessories, along with dedicated local support from Galen Medical, including training and ongoing clinical education. Together, InnoVoyce and Galen Medical are focused on supporting adoption of blue light laser technology that aligns with clinical needs across Canada.
