Clinical Education Manager
Midwest to South Central U.S. | Reports to Director of Clinical Education and Sales Training | ~50% Travel (U.S. & Canada)
Overview
InnoVoyce is seeking an accomplished Clinical Education Manager specializing in surgical medical devices and laser technology. This role ensures that customers and InnoVoyce representatives receive comprehensive education on the safe and effective operation of advanced surgical equipment.
The ideal candidate is a high-performing Registered Nurse with operating room experience and deep familiarity with surgical capital equipment and consumables. This position plays a critical role in supporting the successful integration and clinical adoption of the VYLO™ laser system in surgical practices and operating room environments.
Key Responsibilities
In-Servicing and Training

Develop and deliver tailored training programs for new users of the VYLO laser system to ensure physicians are proficient in its operation and applications

Create educational materials such as manuals, instructional videos, and presentations to support training initiatives

Serve as a subject matter expert on surgical laser technology, supporting physicians, nurses, and the commercial team
First Case Support

Provide hands-on support to physicians during their first cases using the VYLO laser system

Guide clinical teams through procedures and address questions regarding device operation and clinical application

Monitor and document early case performance to provide feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
Utilization Expansion

Identify opportunities to expand the clinical use of the VYLO laser system within healthcare organizations

Facilitate discussions with surgical teams to explore additional procedural applications

Partner with the commercial team to support pre- and post-sale education, workshops, and customer training programs
Continuous Education

Conduct refresher courses and ongoing training for existing users to ensure continued best practices and proficiency

Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and clinical education events to enhance physician and staff knowledge
Clinical Support and Problem Solving

Serve as a clinical expert for the VYLO laser system, providing consultation and troubleshooting support for physicians and nursing staff

Analyze clinical usage and outcomes data to identify opportunities for improving clinical protocols and device utilization
Collaboration and Reporting

Work closely with the Director of Clinical Education and internal teams to align training programs with clinical and organizational goals

Prepare and present reports on training effectiveness, user feedback, and utilization metrics
Quality Improvement

Participate in initiatives aimed at improving patient safety and clinical outcomes related to laser surgery

Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in surgical laser applications
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree required

Nursing degree required
Licensure
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience
-
3–5 years of clinical nursing experience in an operating room environment

1–2 years of leadership or training experience preferred
Technical Expertise

Strong familiarity with surgical technology, particularly laser platforms such as CO₂, Nd:YAG, and Diode systems
